Coldbound is an one man band Doom/Black Metal project from Vantaa,Finland.

"Kapitel I , Banner In The Welkin"

It was Autumn , year 2012 ; when I decided to put and write down all of my darkest thoughts and personal experiences . Thus I decided to transfer all those feelings to the people transfering them via the magical channel called music. Music is the channel that feelings, thoughts and memories are being transfered to each one of us.

Without delay the first EP came out entitled "Banner Of Stormy Welkin" containing 6 tracks , all of them recorded during Autumn of 2012 to August of 2013 . The EP came out in digital format without distributing to any label.

"Kapitel II , The Constellation Of Own Dawn"

Autumn of 2013, after one year of working on the basics of Coldbound , I had enough material to claim that I can release the debut album and first full length entitled " I (Constellation Of Dawn)"
The album gained great reviews and was characterized as own of the greatest upcoming projects arround Doom / Black Metal that came up this year from Finland.
The full length had 6 brand new songs and 2 bonus tracks taken from the first EP .
The album came out through Depressive Illusions Records from Ukraine , Senseless Life Records from United Kingdom and Winterrealm Records from Australia.
Total length : 54 minutes.

"Kapitel III , In Death Lies All My Power"

Before the constellation of 2014 I was shocked with the suicide of a great personal influence named L.S.K (Secrets Of The Moon) .
So I decided to pay a honour tribute to her majesty releasing the second full length album at the first day of March as a symbolic date , entitled " II (I Døden Finnes All Makt)" which title from norwegian to english is translated to "In Death Lies All Power".
The project became darker and more furious approaching Black Metal .  5 brand songs were recorded and 1 moreover song which is cover from the norwegian band Taake was added on the song  list|"(Nattestid Ser Porten Vid I)".
The album came out through Depressive Illusions Records Ukraine, Senseless Life Records from United Kingdom, Winterrealm Records from Australia and Rigorism Productions from Russia.
Total length : 1 hour and 25 minutes.

Until today the album is the most controversial release of Coldbound.

"Kapitel IV , Superior Sorrow"

After a long break Coldbound is ready for a dynamic come back . During 2013 one more release will come out and somewhere in 2015 Coldbound will turn page once again with the release of III "


Until 2013 , from all the releases of Coldbound, no lyrics are published for personal reasons and its a doubt if will ever be released.
